Masterworks Museum of Bermuda Art invites you to come and explore the main exhibition of their permanent collection, Up Country, Down Country in the Butterfield Gallery.
"Up Country” and “Down Country” are Bermudian expressions that originate from the sailing terms “upwind” and “downwind.” In Bermuda, the prevailing winds come from Somerset in the west. If you sail toward Somerset, you are sailing against the wind, or upwind (Up Country). Conversely, if you travel to the eastern parishes you would be sailing with the wind, or downwind (Down Country). This exhibition of our permanent collection explores this concept and displays our culture and heritage.”
This exhibit will run until December 31st.

Masterworks Museum of Bermuda Art presents the new exhibit, Hail to the Queen, opening to the public on Tuesday, June 21st.

The opening reception will be from 5.30pm until 7.30pm and the exhibit will run until November 15th.
