Soothe your soul by viewing some Bermudian artwork as the new Gallery One Seventeen cordially invites you to join them for their official opening on Thursday, November 10th.
At the eastern end of Front Street, specifically at number 117, Gallery One Seventeen, is metamorphosing into Bermuda’s newest local art gallery in Hamilton. Previously known as the Windjammer III Gallery, which was located upstairs at Bluck’s, the new location is ideal and the building has been adapted to house a modern art gallery.
The official opening will take place from 5.30pm until 7pm when well-known Bermudian artist Sheilagh Head will be holding a solo show entitled, Bermuda – Yours and Mine, consisting of more than 30 new works.
The Gallery represents nearly 60 local artists and with more space than at recent previous locations, including the Fairmont Hamilton Princess, R. Danjou Anderson, the Gallery Owner and Manager, is looking forward to being able to showcase original artwork from all of the represented artists.
The show will be running for two weeks, until at least November 25th. The gallery is open from 10am until 5pm daily except for Sundays.
There is no admission fee.
