Step into history as you join a knowledgeable walking tour guide (in full period costume) on a journey through the Royal Naval Dockyard at a Historical Re-enactment and Walking Tour starting on Tuesday, May 3rd.
Starting at 9.30am on the Cruise Ship Pier, you will have an opportunity to interact with characters from the past, and from 9.45am in the Victualling Yard, enjoy a skit depicting life in the Dockyard as it once was.
After the re-enactment, you can continue the walking tour, which concludes at 10.30am in front of the beautiful and historic Clocktower, which has been repurposed into a one of a kind Shopping Mall.
This will continue every Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday until October 14th.
This event is free and there is no need to RSVP in advance. The walking tour guide will ring a bell and announce the start of the event, so those who know about it can clearly see him and join. And those who just happen to stumble across the event, can join in also.
